Poetic meditation – The Apple Of God’s Eye

The apple of God’s eye
The all seeing all knowing One
Who broke the mould by by sending an eternal Son
To restore the firstborn, elect and chosen one. Israel
A nation that was not a nation
A people that were abused and broken by the greed and deprivation of a world dominated by the need to be, The One!
We can not replace the apple of God’s eye.
If we dare to try…
Rejoice, delight yourself in God’s selection.
Do not oppose it because of fear or rejection
There is a place for you in God’s world.
Yes, God’s.
He is The Creator, the sovereign all powerful maker of man
Man, the dust
Breathed into and shaped by the hand of God
Designed to bring glory not shame to His domain
We can not replace the apple of God’s eye
Please don’t try…

Intercession (1/8/13)
Reblogged from The River Walk:
Read:Genesis 18:16-19:38, Matthew 6:25-7:14, Psalm 8:1-9, Proverbs 2:6-15
“Should I hide my plan from Abraham?” the Lord asked. (Genesis 16:17)
Relate: Knowledge brings responsibility. I've heard that after World War Two, many Germans were shocked to find out what had been happening in the concentration camps in their own back yard. According to one study by the end of the war roughly one third of the population had become aware of the mass murder that had been happening.
